Gruffalo tea party

It was my youngest daughters third birthday, and we decided upon a Gruffalo theme. She watched it at Christmas when she was two, she read all of the books and watched the animated short films. She was obsessed... saying that, it helped her reading and speech tremendously.

What can I say, I’m a designer, and I get a little carried away with my kids birthday parties.

  1. Birthday invitations, were designed by me, and the art direction from my eldest daughter Ellie.

  2. Tin Buckets birthday countdown, all home made (with the kids) as a bit of fun building up to the big day, buckets purchased at Hobby craft.

  3. Gruffalo, this is a one off gift, hand painted by my mom, lovely mini canvas on a stand, we will treasure this keep sake forever! she hand made a beautiful box for it too...I need to find it and add this to the blog. She hand makes cards, and packaging to order, so please email me if you would like to order anything.

  4. Straws, plates, cups and napkins were all purchased from www.partypieces.co.uk

  5. Gruffalo dress made to order by 'Too Cute Couture' www.toocutecouture.co.uk thanks Helen she loved it!

  6. Pop corn cups and other food accessory labels, all quickly pulled together from the internet and then printed onto labels.

  7. The Gruffalo cake (and candles) were purchased from Tesco believe it or not (A bargain at just £10)
