B.London Visual identity

The brief:

While working for Tribera, funded by The Martin James Foundation we had the opportunity to collaborate with a group of talented young individuals on creating their visual identities. The Martin James Foundation are committed to empowering young people who have faced adversity, by supporting their journey toward business and entrepreneurial success.

The objective was to bring each participant’s unique vision to life — translating their business ideas into tangible, brand-ready identities. For B.London, a beauty brand was born, I created a strong visual identity with supporting brand assets. The following were designed to support the launch of the brand.

• Visual identity
• Packaging design and merchandise for launch
• Illustration and photography style
• Website and iconography design

Results:

A colour palette that is vibrant, fresh and harmonious. A logo that pairs a bold curvy serif font with a modern sans serif font. Using a visual language synonymous with shoppers, a vegan friendly icon was also created.

I set out to create a brand identity that would authentically reflect B.London’s core values and strong environmental commitment. With a product line that is entirely plant-based and vegan-friendly, it was essential that the visual language aligned with their ethical and sustainable ethos. The design concept centres around a botanical theme, brought to life through organic, expressive illustrations. Soft, abstract splashes of colour — reminiscent of makeup smudges — were used to subtly reference the beauty industry while reinforcing the brand’s natural, conscious approach.
